My sister veterans to become successful, you must first see yourself as successful. Practice mentally everything you want to accomplish. Visualize the process of attainment. This practice is commonplace in sports and the performing arts. Great performers and most great athletes practice in their heads even more than they do in the physical world. A basketball player mentally throws thousands of baskets, dancers mentally dance thousands of steps. This mental practice is as important to success as actual time spent playing or dancing.
When I have a speech or presentation to deliver I mentally practice that speech or presentation 5 or 10 times for every chance I have to rehearse it aloud.
Envision your success over and over again-approaching, taking action, succeeding-playing a melody on your favorite instrument, getting that promotion, building a table or a flourishing business. You must see the change you want to be and where you want to go. It doesn’t matter if nobody else sees it.
What is the next success you want to achieve? Success is a journey. Always assume more success will come and be ready with your next vision.
